I was born in 12-th of May in 1957 in Kaunas, Lithuania. In 1982 I graduated The Art Academy in Vilnius and have taken part in different exhibitions since 1983; I have taken part in major 30 and about 20 minor personal exihibitions of my paintings as well. I participated in several plenery sesssions too. In 1999 I joined Artist’s union of Lithuania.My paintings are in oil and watercolor mainly. Myartworks are considered to be abstract at the moment, but you may find rather many elements of symbolism and surrealism too; I thing it gives more opportunities for my self- expression.My ambition is to fill my artworks with a strong poetical and even musical load, I am looking for the harmony of colors and lines and shapes.
